In this camp, students will investigate the chemistry, biology, and physics behind sticky, slimy, stinky, and strange substances. They will actively mix, stretch, squish, and test different materials to understand their properties and reactions. They will also make predictions, test hypotheses, and adjust their experiments based on observations. Finally, they will explain their experiments, share discoveries, and present their findings during the final showcase. Their final project will be to participate in the Sticky, Stinky, Gross Science Showcase. They will design their own experiment and station to present, on a gross science-related topic that interests them.
