Introduction to Medicine & Public Health
Intro to Medicine & Public Health is an engaging program where students explore the fundamentals of healthcare, patient communication, and public health. Through hands-on activities, they will learn to take vitals, understand physical exams, and analyze medical cases, including creating a treatment plan for a fictional patient. Students will also research and present a Public Service Announcement (PSA) infographic on a critical public health issue. By blending medical knowledge with real-world problem-solving, this program builds essential skills in communication, research, and critical thinking, while introducing future healthcare professionals to career paths in medicine and public health.
