From traditional foods and indigenous art to modern music, dance, clothing, and language, students will examine how these cultural elements have transformed over time. By analyzing key periods in Mexican history, they will gain insight into what these traditions once were, what they are today, and—most importantly—the journey that led to their present form. Through museum visits, local workshops, and cultural exchanges, students will deepen their understanding of Mexico’s past and present, fostering a greater appreciation for cultural identity and change.
Final Project: Students have the freedom to design any project that they believe best showcases their understanding of the experience and the impact it left on them. They are encouraged to let their creativity shine through their work. Whatever medium they choose, the choice is theirs!
