Program Overview: In this reflective program, students will gain a deeper understanding of one of the world’s most pressing issues—displacement. In this immersive program, high school students will meet with refugees, hear their personal stories, and explore the cultural, historical, and political context of the region. Through hands-on learning, storytelling workshops, and meaningful conversations, students will move beyond the headlines and connect with the real people behind the term “refugee.” This is a journey of empathy, awareness, and global citizenship.

Final Project: Students have the freedom to design any project that they believe best showcases their understanding of the experience and the impact it left on them. They are encouraged to let their creativity shine through their work. Whatever medium they choose, the choice is theirs!
